OUR STORY

John and Sandy Buchholz both grew up on dairy farms in Wisconsin. Wanting to share these experiences with their children and grandchildren in 2017 they planted a small orchard as a hobby. Seeing how much their children and their families enjoyed gathering together and helping on the farm, John and Sandy began looking to expand their orchard. They fell in love with the beauty and tranquility lavender had to offer and set out to learn as much as they could about how to start their own. In 2020, they expanded the vision of the family orchard and started planting lavender the summer of 2021. It has been exciting to watch the plants and the family grow. In 2024 they are projecting to have close to 2000 plants with 15 different varieties and are looking forward to expanding in the coming years.

They are also proud members of the United States Lavender Growers Association.
